New - Designing for 'Stitchable Cards'!
I've been working on something very new and exciting - I've been designing some cross stitch patterns for a new cross stitch kit subscription service!
They're available from www.stitchablecards.com See the website for more details on what each kit contains.
The designs are available as 3 different options:
a 'want it all' kit
a stitching kit
a card-making kit.
My first set of designs are called 'A Rose is a Rose'. In the kits there are 4 different designs, all with a pink, red and green colour palette, featuring roses and a cute little ladybird.
The designs fit the 4 different 'stitchable' shapes: a heart, a square, a rectangle and a circle.
The count is equivalent to 10 count aida fabric, meaning the designs are quick and easy to stitch.
Inspiration:
These images show my inspiration for the 'A Rose is a Rose' set of cross stitch designs. (All of the work pictured is my own).
I came up with a set of designs that features pinky red roses with contrasting yellowy-green leaves. The designs are fresh and colourful, with a hint of romanticism about them!
You can make them into cards once you've stitched them, to make a unique and beautiful gift to give to a loved one!
Below are 3 of the 4 designs included in the 'A Rose is a Rose' kit.
I hope you love my designs - head to the www.stitchablecards.com website to find out more about them and how the subscription kit service works - and to find out more about up and coming 'stitchable' designs too.
